From Reflection to Alignment
If you completed last week’s reflection, or even if you only sat with it briefly, I invite you to return to what you noticed.
Based on the prior post about values:
What did you discover? Were you surprised by where you spent your time and energy last year? Did your calendar reflect your stated values or reveal something else entirely?
Often, misalignment isn’t dramatic. It’s subtle. For example, family may be one of your top values, yet your schedule made little space for it. That gap is information. And information, when met with curiosity rather than judgment, becomes a powerful guide.
As you step into the year ahead, consider the following:
What was missing in how you prioritized your life or leadership?
What patterns repeated themselves, even when you didn’t intend them to?
What nudge are you getting now, especially the quiet one you’ve been avoiding or postponing?
And perhaps most importantly: What needs to change, not in your intentions, but in your processes?
Alignment rarely comes from motivation alone; it has to come from designing systems. From daily and weekly rhythms and habits, you can build on to support what matters most.
New Year’s resolutions can be reactionary when we don’t give ourselves enough space to reflect. Without pause, we end up fixing symptoms instead of addressing root causes.
The past three posts - on pausing, values, and now reflection - were designed to do something different. They’re an invitation to align purpose and path (which is exactly why we’re called Access Alignment).
Leadership - in all areas of your life - begins with awareness and alignment. When awareness comes, strategy becomes clearer. When alignment comes, action becomes sustainable.
In 2026, how aligned do you want to be with what matters most - even if it means letting go of familiar patterns or stepping into something new before it feels fully comfortable?
If you’d like support or accountability as you align your purpose and path this year, feel free to reach out to set up a time to connect.
